My client, a leading medical company located in Denver, Colorado is urgently seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join their team. The company provides support to a range of adults living with disabilities. Essential skills and experience
- Minimum of two years of previous billing experience
- Previous experience working with medical coding ( invoices )
- Previous experience working with medical aid.
- Previous experience using THERAP would be advantageous.
Duties
- Ability to work in the office from Wednesday – Saturday.
- Strong computer skills, able to manage own time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective and efficient documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Oversee the tasks of sending new invoices to clients and ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid in full and on time.
- Keep accurate records.
- Create invoices and check calculations on billing statements.
