- Want to join a company where your work will be valued and you have opportunities to grow?
- Are proficient with AutoCAD and other design software.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Are detail-oriented.
- Will be confident in overseeing the work of a small team of draftsmen.
- Possess strong written communication skills with a good command of English.
- Are proficient with building and zoning codes.
The Role & What You’ll Do:
- Independently review and design plans for both commercial and residential buildings.
- Oversee the draftsmen’s designs and ensure they meet code requirements.
- Work with clients to understand their needs for each project.
- Work in line with deadlines and timeframes on projects.
- Use AutoCAD to complete functional, readable designs.
- Collaborate closely with the senior engineer who has a wide range of experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Why This Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic design engineer to join a growing team with plenty of potential for growth and development within a company that values its employees. While group benefits are currently not available, the company has a financial compensation package in place to compensate for the lack of group benefits.
